Description

The proven Eigerjoch Advanced In Hooded Jacket from Mammut combines down with synthetic fibres and thus benefits from the advantages of both insulation materials. The use of so-called hybrid constructions is increasing more and more as many manufacturers recognise the advantages of the combined functions: Down offers an enormous heat retention capacity, but has weaknesses in insulation when the feathers get wet and clump together. This is where the synthetic fibre filling jumps into the breach, as it retains its warmth even when wet and is therefore mainly used on shoulders, hood, back and sleeve ends.

To prevent even the smallest rain shower from causing a loss of function, the Eigerjoch Advanced Jacket is covered with the high-quality Pertex® Quantum outer material, which guarantees excellent abrasion resistance and reliable weather protection.

Climbing harness-optimised side pockets, a two-way front zip, an adjustable jacket hem and a helmet-compatible hood are also essential for adequate functionality during alpine adventures.
