Description
<p>The fēnix® 8 Pro from Garmin takes everything that makes the "normal" fēnix® 8 one of the most excellent GPS watches on the market and goes one better. It retains all the outstanding training features and adds full two-way satellite communication to the range of functions.</p>
<p>That's right, with the fēnix® 8 Pro you can now make calls and send messages completely without having your smartphone with you. Wherever possible, you can use the LTE network (active subscription required). If you no longer have a connection here either, you can still send text messages, make interactive emergency calls and send check-in messages via the satellite network. Garmin inReach® technology is used for this, for which a paid subscription is required.</p>
<p>You can also set up live tracking via LTE so that your loved ones at home can follow you. With LTE Livetrack, all satellite systems and multiband, the watch still manages a robust 12 hours of battery life. If you have not activated Livetrack, the fēnix® 8 Pro lasts 44 hours with GPS and 30 hours with all satellite systems plus multiband.</p>
<p>For maximum durability, the multisport watch comes with a case made from fiber-reinforced polymer with a titanium back. A sapphire crystal protects the high-resolution AMOLED display and the bezel is of course also made from titanium. The 47 mm version of the fēnix® 8 Pro comes with a 22 mm wide silicone strap, which is designed for wrist circumferences of 125-208 mm.</p>
