<p>The SteriPEN Ultra water purifier is a lightweight, compact drinking water purifier for use on the move. Ideal for trekking tours and journeys with problematic drinking water supplies.&nbsp;</p><p>The device is powered by a Li-Ion battery, which can easily be charged using the USB cable supplied.</p><p>The water filter eliminates bacteria, protozoa, and viruses in clear water simply by UV light. The operation is very easy: The UV lamp of the Steripen simply needs to be stirred in clear water for 48 seconds (0.5 l) or 90 seconds (1 l). Ideal for reprocessing are wide-neck bottles such as those from Nalgene®.&nbsp;</p><p>A display indicates a successful application and also provides information on battery charge level and remaining activations. With a fully charged battery, about 50 l of water can be treated. The UV lamp has a service life of about 8,000 applications.&nbsp;</p>
