<p>The women's Bergen WP shoes from Saola combine the urban design of a high-top sneaker with the technical benefits of an outdoor shoe for fall to spring. The upper is made from innovative VEGEA leather, a vegan alternative based on grape residue that offers the look and comfort of classic leather but is significantly more sustainable. The recycled PET lining ensures a comfortable fit, while the waterproof and breathable COSMO Nature-tex Bio membrane keeps your feet reliably dry - whether you're in the city or walking on paved paths.</p> <p>The lightweight and flexible sole construction is particularly cleverly designed: the midsole is partly made from recycled EVA and provides comfortable cushioning with every step. The outsole made from natural and synthetic rubber with cork content offers excellent stability and durability without making the shoe unnecessarily heavy. Removable insoles made from recycled PU and cork adapt to your foot or can be replaced with your own if required.</p> <p>A real plus is the environmental approach to manufacturing: uppers made from plant-based waste materials, a membrane made from castor oil and laces made from organic cotton reduce the ecological footprint. The shoes are made under certified, fair conditions in Vietnam.</p>
