<p>With the Women’s Ghost 17, Brooks is introducing a new generation of one of its most popular neutral running shoes—while staying true to its proven formula: soft, comfortable ride, a smooth roll, and a fit that naturally hugs the foot. The biggest new feature is the further-optimized cushioning, which promises added comfort for daily training runs and long distances.</p> <p>For the first time, the midsole is made entirely from nitrogen-enriched DNA Loft v3 cushioning—a high-tech foam that is not only exceptionally soft but also comfortable and responsive. Compared to the previous model, the sole height has been increased by 1 mm at the heel and 3 mm in the forefoot—resulting in an even softer running feel while maintaining stability. The new flex grooves in the midsole ensure smooth transitions and a more dynamic roll with every kilometer.</p> <p>Brooks has also stepped up its game with the upper: The breathable Double Jacquard Air Mesh flexibly adapts to the foot, while the new Kickback heel collar provides support without constriction. As with its predecessor, the focus here is on the combination of fit, comfort, and lightness—perfect for anyone looking for a reliable training partner for pavement and firm forest trails.</p> <p>Rounding out this update is an increased use of recycled materials: 59% recycled materials in the upper and climate-neutral production are key features of the Ghost 17.
