Spectre Quickdraw Set

The DMM Spectre Quickdraw is an excellent all-round quickdraw: light enough for trad or alpine climbing, yet comfortable to use, making it a great companion for a quick session of sport climbing.

The carabiners feature wire gates, which keeps the weight down. The carabiners have been kept relatively small to reduce the risk of the rope or the carabiner getting snagged. The sturdy Dyneema® sling is 11 mm wide and features a rubber lining on the side of the carabiner that attaches to the rope, to keep the carabiner in the optimal position.

The colour scheme has also been carefully considered: thanks to the different colours, it is immediately obvious if you have attached the sling to the harness the wrong way round. This is particularly important when the carabiner on the wall side shows signs of wear, as this can pose a risk to the rope – a situation that is thus prevented.
