<p>The men's Mangart GTX Mid by Lowa is a lightweight and technical alpine boot for demanding tours in the high mountains. It combines low weight with high stability and is ideal for mountain hikes, challenging alpine routes and alpine tours.</p> <p>The sporty upper made of robust textile and synthetic material ensures a low weight combined with high resistance in alpine terrain. The waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex&reg; membrane provides reliable protection from the wet.</p> <p>The 2-zone lacing, which is pulled far forward, enables precise adjustment right down to the toe area and ensures a secure hold on technical passages. Additional technologies such as X-Lacing&reg; Light, Flex Fit and the integrated Shock Absorber improve fit, stability and comfort on longer tours.</p> <p>The Vibram&reg; Alp Trac&reg; Numen outsole is specially developed for alpine conditions and can be resoled. Its pronounced Climbing Zone enables precise steps on rock, while the aggressive lug profile offers reliable grip on scree, rock and alpine paths. At the same time, the special arrangement of the lugs ensures good self-cleaning when walking.</p> <p>Thanks to its rigid sole construction, the European-made boot is conditionally crampon-compatible for combination crampons and therefore also suitable for alpine tours.</p>
