Description

The Snowline is the lightest sleeping bag of the expedition range from Mountain Equipment and is recommended for temperatures down to -23°C. Ideal for most expeditions to 6000m and light 7000m and for experienced users a perfect alpine style sleeping bag on hard routes on high mountains.

The new version of the Snowline features a Gore® THERMIUM™ membrane, which is extremely lightweight due to its 10D upper material, so the Snowline still remains under the magic 1.5kg mark. Thanks to the membrane, the sleeping bag has optimal weather protection. Gore® THERMIUM™ is also extremely breathable, so that moisture is quickly transported to the outside. The hood and the footrest are also lined with Gore® THERMIUM™ on the inside, so that the sleeping bag also has perfect protection against respiratory moisture and even damp inner shoes in the foot area will not pose a problem. The sleeping bag is altogether somewhat longer, so that the storage space estimated on expeditions in the foot range is actually present and functions. Elastic seams on the inside provide optimal insulation and a mesh pocket on the inside serves as storage space for various small parts that you don't want to expose to the cold.

Note on temperature information: the EN13537 standard is used to determine comfort/limit/extreme temperature under "normal" conditions and does not provide reliable data below -18°C/0°F. ME therefore determines its temperature specification by extensive tests in the cold chamber and by tests under real conditions carried out by a team of 30 mountain guides and extreme climbers.
