Description

<p>The Saltoro Jacket from Mountain Equipment is a durable, comfortable hardshell jacket that combines two Gore-Tex® materials for an optimum weight/robustness ratio. Of course, the jacket is waterproof, windproof and breathable, and a PFC-free DWR water-repellent finish also repels water.</p><p>The body of the jacket is made from lightweight 2.5-layer Gore-Tex® Paclite® material, which is reinforced on the shoulders and outside of the arms by an extra-robust Gore-Tex® hardshell material - making the Saltoro jacket suitable for long routes with a heavier backpack.</p><p>Cleverly designed details make the Saltoro jacket suitable for the mountains: a helmet-compatible, adjustable hood protects the head. High-positioned zipped pockets hold handkerchiefs, cell phone or map. Zippers under the arms let air in during strenuous passages. Of course, the cuffs and hem can be adjusted to suit the wearer.</p>
